Admin Assistant/Floater

Mark Development, Inc. is looking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant/Floater for our fast-paced low income/affordable housing office on Oahu. Mark Development manages and develops low income/affordable rental properties for Hawaii.

Position:

  • Fielding telephone calls in the main office or at one of our properties (Answering calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls as needed)

  • Receive, sort and route mail

  • Managing appointments at the main office at one of our properties

  • Collection of information and data entry

  • Maintaining tenant data in all company used systems

  • Assist with special projects

  • Traveling to various properties to assist properties managers with daily duties when needed

  • Other duties assigned

  • Is a full-time position, 40-hours/week.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Property Management or Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Excel, etc...

  • Teamwork oriented attitude

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proactive and ability to work independently

  • Ability to interact with people of all levels and backgrounds

  • Manage multiple tasks and maintain composure under time constraints

  • Must have own car with proof of insurance and valid Hawaii Driver’s License

  • Pass criminal and drug screenings

Maintenance Technician 

Mark Development, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time member for our maintenance team.

Position:

  • Maintenance Tech will assist with essential daily janitorial and building maintenance including repair work, upkeep or grounds, equipment, buildings and appliances. 

  • Full time position, 40 hours/week.

Job Requirements:​

  • NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY- We will train you should you have no experience in the field.

  • Be responsible, reliable, and not afraid of hard work.

  • Have good organizational skills.

  • Be motivated and willing to learn varied aspects of the position.

  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.

  • Possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Must have a valid drivers license.

  • Criminal and drug screenings conducted.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and Training: Two (2) years of work experience in performing a variety of building maintenance, repair work or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

Assistant Property Manager

Mark Development, Inc. is looking to hire a full time Assistant Property Manager for one of our affordable housing properties on Kauai.

Position:

  • Assistant Property Manager will assist the Property Manager in all aspects of the office and property to include, but not limited to clerical, compliance, vendor relations, tenant relations, property and unit inspections, staff relations and management, infrastructure monitoring, financial transactions and bill payment, file monitoring.

  • Is a full-time position, 40 hours/week.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

    • Property Management or Hospitality experience a plus.

    • Property Management & affordable housing program training provided.

  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Excel, etc…

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be responsible, reliable, and not afraid of hard work.

  • Have good organizational skills.

  • Be motivated and willing to learn varied aspects of the position.

  • Be able to deal with the public appropriately and efficiently, even in challenging situations.
