Koa'e Makana is a workforce housing rental property currently under construction in Koloa, Kauai. Built using Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, Housing Trust Funds, and a private mortgage, Koa'e Makana will feature 133 rental units and one resident manager's unit scattered across 23 low-rise multi-plex apartment buildings and a community center.
33 apartments at Koa'e Makana will receive Project-Based Section 8 Subsidy.
